The movers were professional and able to move an extra large couch through a very tight space, that seemed nearly impossible. They worked quickly and efficiently as well.Posted on Google![]()

A friend recommended Moving of America, and choosing them was one of the best decisions I made. The team worked efficiently, and my foreman made sure everything was handled properly, wrapped carefully, and completed according to my requests. I highly recommend Moving of America. A special thank-you to Joey for his amazing attention and support, from the very first phone call until the end of my move.Posted on Google![]()

We had an excellent experience with our move today. The team worked from 10am to 5:15pm in extremely hot weather, and our new home has lots of stairs on a hill—definitely not an easy job. Despite that, all four movers were professional, efficient, and handled everything with great care. They stayed positive the entire time and truly went above and beyond. Highly recommend!Posted on Google![]()

Moving of America is a licensed carrier handling local moves in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ. As one of the Best Movers in Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ, we serve 56,162 residents across 25 square miles, the largest municipality in Morris County, and the one where a single-quote template fails most often.
A move on Simpson Avenue in Mount Tabor and a move on Sylvan Way in the office corridor are barely the same job. Chapter 405 of the Township Code treats them differently, and the estimate should too.
Parsippany is part of our Morris County movers coverage area and is dispatched from our Ridgefield facility. Every job is booked as a binding inventory-based estimate through our Local Movers Parsippany-Troy Hills NJ service, and the section you live in is confirmed before a truck is assigned. If you need Residential Movers Parsippany-Troy Hills NJ, or Apartment Movers Parsippany-Troy Hills NJ, our team will tailor the experience to your needs.
Hiring a local mover in Parsippany-Troy Hills should not feel like a gamble. Too many people have dealt with a crew that arrived late, handled their furniture carelessly, or added charges that never came up during the quote. Moving of America was built to give New Jersey households and businesses a better experience, and here is what that means for your move in Parsippany-Troy Hills.
We are not a national chain passing your job to whichever crew is free that day. Moving of America is a New Jersey company that has served homeowners, renters, and businesses since 2007. Our crews work across every part of the township, from the tight cottage lanes of Mount Tabor and the lake streets around Lake Parsippany and Lake Hiawatha to the colonials of Troy Hills, Rainbow Lakes, and Powder Mill. We know how to plan around I-80, I-287, Route 46, and Route 10 traffic, which lake roads need a smaller truck, and how to work the loading docks along the Sylvan Way and Interpace Parkway office corridor. That local knowledge keeps your moving day on schedule.
Few things are more frustrating than agreeing to one price and receiving an invoice for another. It happens often in the moving industry, and it is one of the most common complaints we hear from customers who tried another company before calling us. Our local moving rates start at $298, and every quote is flat-rate and based on a written inventory of your belongings. You will not see fuel surcharges, surprise stair fees, or last-minute add-ons on the final bill. The price your Move Advisor gives you is the price you pay.
Many local movers simply load a truck, drive, and unload. We do much more than that. Moving of America provides packing and unpacking, furniture disassembly and reassembly, loading and unloading, and secure storage for times when your move-out and move-in dates do not line up. Whether you are moving a garden apartment off North Beverwyck Road or relocating an office along the Route 46 corridor, we have the people, equipment, and experience to do it right.
When comparing moving companies, it is easy to focus only on the quote. But you are also inviting people into your home, around your family and your most valued possessions. Every Moving of America team member passes a background check and completes professional training before working a single job. We are fully licensed, insured, and accredited, including licensing through the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs, and we carry liability and cargo insurance on every move. If something unexpected happens, you are protected.
We could tell you why we are a great choice, but our customers say it best. Moving of America has earned hundreds of verified five-star Google reviews from New Jersey families, renters, seniors, and business owners. Many customers call us again for their next move and recommend us to friends and family. That kind of loyalty comes from doing what we promise, every time.
Mount Tabor is the most constrained move in Morris County, and it is not close
The Camp Grounds of the Mount Tabor Camp Meeting Association are a Victorian cottage grid laid out in the 1860s around a central tabernacle. Lanes barely wider than a single car, cottages set feet apart, and almost no driveways.
The Township Code reflects that. Section 405-21 makes thirteen Mount Tabor streets one-way, including Asbury Place, Banghart Place, Butler Pass, Embury Place, Wesley Place, and Whitfield Place. Section 405-14 then prohibits parking at all times on most of them, as well as on Clarke Place, Force Place, McClintock Place, Pitman Place, Porter Place, Scott Place, Shaw Place, East Hedding Place, and West Hedding Place.
Section 405-15 closes the rest: no parking anywhere in the Mount Tabor area from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., with the code naming the designated spaces along the curb of Simpson Avenue as the exception. That is the legal curb in Mount Tabor. One street.
So, a Mount Tabor move is planned to run backward from Simpson Avenue. We assign a shorter truck, walk the one-way loop before move day, and price the carry rather than discovering it at 8 a.m. Anyone quoting a Mount Tabor cottage the way they quote a Troy Hills colonial has not been there.
The lake communities exclude heavy trucks street by street, with one exception that makes your move legal
Section 405-20 excludes vehicles over four tons registered gross weight from thirty-four named township streets. Nearly all of them ring the lakes.
Around Lake Parsippany: all five segments of Lake Shore Drive, plus Absecon, Adelphia, Allentown, Barnsboro, Barrington, Bogota, Camden, Carlstadt, Englishtown, Everett, Fairfield, Freneau, Halsey, Marmora and Northfield Roads. Near Littleton Road: Beachwood, Fieldcrest, Brooklawn, Marcella, Richard, Rita and Park Road. Fox Hill Road and Interpace Parkway carry an eight-ton limit.
The same section includes an exception vehicles are permitted for the pickup and delivery of materials. Section 405-17 says the same thing about the right-of-way: a truck with a GVWR over 4 tons may occupy it while actively making a pickup or delivery at a residence. Your move qualifies. You still have to plan the approach and staging around the limit.
Lake Hiawatha adds a layer. North Beverwyck Road runs two-hour parking from Lake Shore Drive to Tioga Avenue, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and street cleaning closes both sides from Mara Road to Crescent Drive between 4:00 and 6:00 a.m. on Fridays. Our Apartment Movers Parsippany-Troy Hills NJ team handles the garden apartment complexes off North Beverwyck and Old Cherry Hill Road and can request a certificate of insurance when management requires one. We also offer Packing and Moving Services Parsippany-Troy Hills NJ, for added convenience.
Moving of America prices are based on a binding item-by-item inventory, not on estimated weight or cubic volume. You approve a written list, and the list is the price. If you’re comparing Moving Companies in Parsippany-Troy Hills NJ, this transparent process sets us apart as an Affordable Movers Parsippany-Troy Hills NJ option.
What moves the number here is the section, not the square footage. A Mount Tabor cottage with a long carry from Simpson Avenue can cost more than a larger Troy Hills house with a driveway. A weight-restricted lake street may need a smaller truck and a second trip. Whether you need House Movers Parsippany-Troy Hills NJ or Furniture Movers Parsippany-Troy Hills NJ, we quote before you sign.
We are a licensed mover in Parsippany-Troy Hills NJ, and an insured mover in Parsippany-Troy Hills NJ; a carrier, not a broker. Search results for Parsippany movers are unusually crowded with lead aggregators that sell your details on. The crew that quotes your move here is the crew that performs it, employed, background-checked, and dispatched from our own facility.
The authority is verifiable. USDOT #1601312 and MC #592337 are searchable on FMCSA SAFER, and NJ License #39PC00096600 is issued by the New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs. See our licensed NJ mover credentials and the FMCSA Your Rights and Responsibilities When You Move booklet, provided on every interstate move under 49 CFR § 375.213.
We also handle the Sylvan Way, Interpace Parkway, Campus Drive, and East Halsey Road office corridor, where § 405-11 prohibits stopping and standing at all hours, and every move must run through a loading dock or a building window. Our Office Movers Parsippany-Troy Hills NJ and Commercial Movers Parsippany-Troy Hills NJ team handles that work.
Boonton, NJ: hillside walk-ups and historic homes over the Greenbank Road line, where a police contractor permit governs the curb.
Mountain Lakes, NJ: borough moves off the Boulevard and the lakefront lots, where driveway grade and tree cover decide truck placement.
Denville, NJ: downtown Broadway walk-ups and the Indian Lake community, across the Cold Hill Road line.
Montville, NJ: Towaco and Pine Brook residential moves along the Route 202 and I-287 corridor.
Morris Plains, NJ: Route 53 and Speedwell Avenue addresses on the southern township boundary.
During your move, yes. Section 405-17 prohibits parking a vehicle over four tons GVWR in a township right-of-way unless it is actively providing a service or making a pickup or delivery at that address. A household move is exactly that. The truck can occupy the curb while the crew is working, but not before or after.
Carefully, and from Simpson Avenue. Most Mount Tabor streets are one-way under § 405-21 and carry a no-parking-at-any-time restriction under § 405-14. Section 405-15 bans parking across the whole campground area from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. and names the Simpson Avenue spaces as the exception. We size the truck down, walk the loop in advance, and price the carry into the written estimate.
Very possibly. Section 405-20 excludes vehicles over four tons from thirty-four named streets, including every segment of Lake Shore Drive at Lake Parsippany and most roads running off Parsippany Road and Littleton Road. Fox Hill Road and Interpace Parkway are limited to eight tons. The same section permits pickup and delivery vehicles, so your move is allowed, but we size the truck to the street.
Daytime, and check the block. Section 405-17A bars trucks with a one-ton-rated capacity or greater from township streets between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., so nothing stages overnight. From September through June, school-season restrictions are in effect Monday to Friday on Farrand Drive, Glencove Road, Glenwood Avenue, Lincoln Avenue, Medford Road, Virginia Drive, and part of Strowbridge Avenue. North Beverwyck Road is closed for street cleaning between 4:00 and 6:00 a.m. on Fridays from Mara Road to Crescent Drive
Many managed garden-apartment communities do, particularly the larger complexes off North Beverwyck Road, Old Cherry Hill Road, Parsippany Boulevard and the Route 46 corridor. Requirements vary by management company, not by township rule. We confirm at the time of booking and issue a COI upon request, usually within one business day.
We price from a binding item-by-item inventory rather than by weight or volume, so the written list you approve is the price you pay. In Parsippany, the section usually matters more than the home size: a Mount Tabor cottage with a long carry can command a higher price than a larger house on a Troy Hills street with a driveway. Whether you’re seeking Same Day Movers Parsippany-Troy Hills NJ or Senior Movers Parsippany-Troy Hills NJ, both are quoted before you sign.
