We use museum-quality packing for valuable art and antique packing. To protect such valuable items from changing color, we use acid-free wrapping materials, especially for artwork wrapping. For things that aren’t shaped like a box, we use custom-cut foam cushioning for packing, whereas for things that are very valuable, we utilize handcrafted wooden crates. For framed paintings, we use sturdy picture boxes, and for antique furniture, we use special blankets that won’t hurt the delicate finish. Apart from packing, we also take pictures of all items before we pack, for insurance and record-keeping purposes.
Modern electronics are quite costly and are easily damaged. Especially, flat screen TVs are likely to be easily damaged. Thus, we use the original boxes whenever we can, or use heavy-duty boxes that fit your items. We also use anti-static materials to wrap up computers and their parts. The cables for gaming consoles, sound systems, and home theatre systems are all neatly wrapped and labelled so that they may be easily reconnected.
Large mirrors and glass tabletops require special handling. We use mirror boxes or custom cardboard corners to protect edges, mark boxes prominently as ‘FRAGILE – GLASS’, and ensure movers know how to handle these items with extreme care. Glass shelving, shower doors, and decorative glass pieces receive similar protective treatment.
Lamps are awkward to pack due to their irregular shapes and delicate shades. Our packers disassemble lamps when possible, wrapping bases and shades separately. We have boxes of different sizes for different items, like small boxes (1.5 cubic feet) for books and heavy items, medium boxes (3.0 cubic feet) for general household goods, and large boxes (4.5 cubic feet) for lightweight bulky items. We also have specialized boxes, like wardrobe boxes with hanging bars for clothes, dish pack boxes with extra cardboard dividers, and mirror/picture boxes for glass and artwork.
We use different kinds of protective materials depending on what we’re packing. For example, we use bubble wrap in different sizes to cushion things, packing paper (unprinted newsprint) to wrap dishes and fill empty spaces, foam sheets to protect electronics and delicate surfaces, furniture blankets to protect furniture finishes, and shrink wrap to keep blankets secure and clean. You don’t need to get these professional supplies on your own; they’re included in our packaging service.

Includes everything in Silver, plus packing up all the devices and wires, the whole home office, the bathroom products and amenities, and the decorative objects and collectibles. You just bring your own things, such as clothes, bedding, and extremely private things. This bundle handles the hardest and most time-consuming packing jobs.

We will pack up your whole house, save for things you tell us to pack yourself. We pack everything, from the bedrooms and closets to the basement, attic, and garage, as well as the outside things and patio furniture, the kids' rooms and playrooms, and everything else. Packing time depends on home size and service. Typical 2-bedroom apartment with silver service (fragile goods only) takes 3-4 hours. One day (6-8 hours) with a 2-3-person staff is needed to pack a 3-bedroom house with Platinum service. Larger homes with large collections may take 2 days. Due to experience, systematic methodologies, and committed focus, our professionals finish in hours or days what would take you 2-3 weeks of evenings and weekends.
Although not needed, we encourage being present or having someone available initially. This lets you identify objects with special instructions, mark items not to be packed (taking them with you), answer questions regarding room assignments in your new house, and advise on expensive or emotional items. Many clients stay for an hour or two, then depart to do other things, returning periodically. We can use thorough written instructions if you can't be there.
