The movers were professional and able to move an extra large couch through a very tight space, that seemed nearly impossible. They worked quickly and efficiently as well.Posted on Google![]()

A friend recommended Moving of America, and choosing them was one of the best decisions I made. The team worked efficiently, and my foreman made sure everything was handled properly, wrapped carefully, and completed according to my requests. I highly recommend Moving of America. A special thank-you to Joey for his amazing attention and support, from the very first phone call until the end of my move.Posted on Google![]()

We had an excellent experience with our move today. The team worked from 10am to 5:15pm in extremely hot weather, and our new home has lots of stairs on a hill—definitely not an easy job. Despite that, all four movers were professional, efficient, and handled everything with great care. They stayed positive the entire time and truly went above and beyond. Highly recommend!Posted on Google![]()

They arrived on time, handled all of our furniture and belongings with great care, and made sure everything arrived safely at our new home. I would highly recommend them for your next move!

Moving of America is a licensed interstate carrier based in Ridgefield, New Jersey (USDOT #1601312, NJ License #39PC00096600). Since 2007, we have moved families and businesses with our own trucks and our own team. On a move to Orlando, we pack your things, load the truck, drive I-95 south and I-4 west, and deliver to your new home in Central Florida.
Orlando is about 1,070 miles from our Ridgefield office. Most shipments arrive within 7 to 14 business days of loading, and we confirm your delivery window in writing before moving day.
Moves from New Jersey to Orlando start at $1,150. Your price depends on the list of things you are moving and the services you pick. Your Move Advisor gives you a written binding estimate and confirms any change in writing before extra work begins.
Every Orlando address is a little different. A condo near Lake Eola may need a loading dock booking and a Certificate of Insurance. A house in a gated Lake Nona or Kissimmee community may have HOA move-in hours. We plan for your exact address, whether you are heading to Winter Park, Dr. Phillips, Lake Mary, or another Central Florida neighborhood.
Moving of America is the carrier on every New Jersey to Orlando move. Our own team packs, loads, drives, and delivers your things. You deal with one company from your first call to the last box in your Orlando home, and we stay responsible for your shipment the whole way.
Before you book, check our operating authority on the FMCSA SAFER system under USDOT #1601312. Your written estimate spells out the services and delivery terms for your move.
Your price is set from a list of your things, not a guess. Your Move Advisor walks through your home room by room, in person or by video call, and then prepares your written binding estimate.
If the work in your estimate takes longer than planned, your price stays the same. If you add items or services, we explain the new price and confirm it in writing before that extra work starts.
A move of about 1,070 miles needs good prep at both ends. We can pack your home, take apart and put back together your furniture, wrap everything for the long drive, and place each item in the room you choose. Your MoveView package and written estimate show what is included.
Tell us about fragile items, art, or a piano during the estimate. That way we bring the right special packing and plan their handling ahead of time. Your Move Advisor stays your single point of contact for the whole move.
Every member of our moving team is background-checked and trained in-house. Moving of America is fully licensed, insured, and accredited.
Before moving day, your Move Advisor walks you through your protection options, what each one covers, and what the mover is responsible for if something is lost or damaged. You then pick the level of protection that fits your move.
Most delivery problems happen at the new address, so that is where our planning starts. In downtown Orlando, a truck can stay in a freight zone for only 30 minutes, so a longer unload needs a dock booking or a lane plan. Many condo towers also ask for an elevator booking and a Certificate of Insurance.
In the suburbs, gated and HOA communities often set move-in hours and gate access rules. Your Move Advisor checks the rules for your address well before moving day, so our team arrives ready.
Use these price ranges to plan your move from New Jersey to Orlando. Bedroom count is only a guide. Your written binding estimate is based on the list of things you are moving, your Orlando-area address, and the services you choose.
Representative route: 395 Broad Avenue, Ridgefield, NJ to downtown Orlando, FL. Mileage and car travel time are approximate and vary by route and traffic; moving-truck schedules differ.
Distance and driving time change with your New Jersey pickup address, your Orlando-area destination, the route, and traffic. The time it takes to drive a car down is not the same as your delivery window. We confirm that window in writing before your move.

Your selected MoveView package determines the services included in your move. If you need storage in transit, discuss the timing and any applicable charges with your Move Advisor. Review your valuation and protection options before booking. Your written estimate confirms the selected services and costs.

In downtown Orlando, trucks over 5,000 pounds can load and unload in marked freight zones (signed, with an orange curb) only with a city Freight Loading and Unloading Permit. Even with that permit, a vehicle cannot stay in a freight zone for more than 30 minutes. A full household unload takes much longer.
When the truck needs a lane or sidewalk for longer, the City of Orlando asks for a road, lane, or sidewalk closure request at least 10 business days before the start date. Metered spaces affected by a closure are rented through the city’s Parking Division. Rules and fees can change, so we check the city’s current guidance before each move.
During planning, your Move Advisor works out how much curb space the truck needs and whether your building has a loading dock we can book instead.
Trucks with three or more axles, and any vehicle towing a trailer, are not allowed in the I-4 Express lanes through Orlando. Our trucks use the regular I-4 lanes, so we plan arrival times around real truck traffic, not the times a car app shows.
Many routes into Orlando neighborhoods use toll roads run by the Central Florida Expressway Authority, such as SR 408, SR 417, and SR 528. These roads are fully cashless. We plan the truck route to your street ahead of time, including which toll roads and exits to use.
Weather matters too. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30, and summer afternoons often bring heavy thunderstorms. Your team watches the forecast on delivery day and adjusts timing when a storm makes unloading unsafe.
Many Orlando-area neighborhoods, from Lake Nona to Winter Garden and Kissimmee, are gated or run by a homeowners association. Some ask for move-in approval, a set move-in time, or gate access for the truck. Closing dates can also shift. Tell your Move Advisor about any change early so we can adjust storage and delivery.
Moving of America offers storage-in-transit when there is a gap between your New Jersey move-out and your Orlando move-in. All customers can choose to use one month of free storage. Just let your Move Advisor know if you want this option.
One team handles your move, from the first walkthrough in New Jersey to placing furniture in your Orlando home.
First, your Move Advisor walks through your home in person or by video. We make a list of your things and use it, along with the services you pick, to prepare your written binding estimate.
Then you pick a MoveView Package, from Starter Move to White Glove, based on how much help you want.
Next, our team plans the truck route and checks your Orlando address. That includes downtown freight zones and lane closures, elevator bookings, HOA move-in hours, gate access, and any Certificate of Insurance your building needs.
Our team packs, wraps, and labels your things based on the services you chose. Before loading, you get an itemized list of everything going on the truck.
On moving day, we go over the Bill of Lading with you and ask you to sign it. Our team protects your floors and door frames, loads your things, and secures them for the long drive south.
Your things travel about 1,070 miles down I-95 to Central Florida. Most shipments arrive within 7 to 14 business days of loading. Your delivery window is confirmed in writing before your move.
When we deliver to your new home, our team unloads, places items in the rooms you choose, and puts furniture back together as your package includes. We can also take away used packing materials if that is part of your plan.
Your NJ to Orlando moving estimate starts with the list of things you are moving, your Orlando address, your move date, and the services you pick. Your Move Advisor checks access at both homes, such as stairs, elevators, parking, gate access, and how far the truck will be from your door.
We also look at packing needs, special items, and storage. All customers can choose to use one month of free storage. Your written binding estimate lists the agreed price and what it includes. If you ask for more, we explain it and confirm it in writing before that extra work begins.

| What changes your price | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Household inventory | Determines team size, required truck capacity, and total labor hours. |
| Packing scope | Full-service packing, partial packing, and owner-packed cartons are each priced differently. |
| Access at both homes | Stairs, elevators, long carries, downtown Orlando freight-zone limits, and gated-community access affect labor time. |
| Specialty items | Pianos, fine art, safes, and crated antiques require additional handling and materials. |
| Storage-in-transit | All customers can choose to use one month of free storage when they need it. |
| Move date | Summer, end-of-month, and school-break dates usually book first. |
Your list of things tells us how much truck space, how many team members, and what equipment your move needs. Your Move Advisor notes what is going to Orlando, what stays behind, and what needs storage or special care.
Two homes with the same number of bedrooms can cost different amounts because what is inside them is different. Decide what you will sell, donate, or leave behind before the walkthrough. Moving less can lower your cost.
A binding estimate sets a fixed price for the belongings and services listed in the agreement. A non-binding estimate is an approximation, so the final cost can change. A binding estimate gives you greater cost certainty for the work included.
Moving of America prepares your written binding estimate from your inventory and selected services. If you request additional items or services, we explain and confirm any price adjustment in writing before the additional work begins. Financing is available if you would like to spread the cost over time.
Since 2007, we’ve learned that no two moves are the same. That’s why we offer flexible moving packages so you can get exactly what you need and nothing you don’t.
We deliver across the Orlando area. The table below covers the neighborhoods and nearby cities New Jersey residents choose most often, from downtown Orlando to Kissimmee and Lake Mary.
| Orlando Area | Moving-Day Planning |
|---|---|
| Downtown Orlando (Lake Eola, Thornton Park, Parramore) | Downtown Orlando is about 1,070 miles from our Ridgefield, NJ office. Here you have condo and apartment towers with loading docks, elevator bookings, and Certificate of Insurance rules. Street freight zones allow only 30 minutes, so we plan dock time or a lane closure early. |
| Winter Park & Maitland | Just north of downtown, these areas have older homes on brick and tree-lined streets. Some driveways are tight for a big truck. We check access ahead of time and plan a smaller shuttle truck when needed. |
| Lake Nona & Southeast Orlando | These newer, master-planned communities sit near Orlando International Airport. Many have HOA rules, set move-in hours, and gate access. Send us your HOA rules early and we plan the delivery around them. |
| Kissimmee, St. Cloud & Celebration (Osceola County) | South of Orlando, many homes are in gated or HOA neighborhoods. Traffic on US-192 near the theme parks can be heavy, so we time deliveries around it. |
| Winter Garden, Windermere & Dr. Phillips | West Orange County has many gated communities and larger homes. We confirm gate entry, HOA approval, and truck parking before moving day. |
| Lake Mary, Sanford & Altamonte Springs (Seminole County) | North of Orlando along I-4, these cities are popular with families and commuters. We plan around I-4 rush-hour traffic and confirm parking at your new address. |

Every move from New Jersey to Orlando crosses state lines, so federal consumer protection rules apply. As a licensed interstate carrier (USDOT #1601312, MC #592337), Moving of America gives each Orlando customer the following:

Moving of America is a carrier, not a broker. We hold USDOT #1601312 and MC #592337, run our own trucks, and employ our own moving teams. Your move is never sold to another company, and the team that loads your home in New Jersey works for the same company that delivers it in Orlando.
No. Your Orlando move is priced from a written list of your things and the services included in your move. Your Move Advisor records your items room by room and uses that list to prepare your all-inclusive binding estimate.
It depends on where the truck parks. Downtown freight zones let permitted trucks stay only 30 minutes, which is not enough for a full unload. If the truck needs a lane or sidewalk for longer, the City of Orlando asks for a closure request at least 10 business days ahead. Your Move Advisor checks this when you book and plans dock time or a closure as needed.
Yes. Our storage-in-transit service keeps your things in our secure facility between your New Jersey move-out and your Orlando move-in. All customers can choose to use one month of free storage. Your Move Advisor sets storage and delivery around your schedule.
Florida asks new residents to get a Florida driver license within 30 days of becoming a resident. You also need Florida auto insurance before you can title and register your car in Florida. The FLHSMV new resident page lists each step.
Many downtown Orlando condo and apartment towers ask for a Certificate of Insurance (COI) before a mover can use the loading dock or service elevator. Rules and deadlines vary by building.
Ask your property manager for the building's move-in rules and insurance requirements, then send them to your Move Advisor. You can also request a Certificate of Insurance from us before moving day.
Orlando is about 1,070 miles from our Ridgefield, NJ office. The drive takes about 16 hours by car, not counting stops. Moving trucks usually deliver within 7 to 14 business days of loading, depending on your address and delivery window.
Tell us your Orlando address, your preferred dates, and the services you need. Your Move Advisor will review the list of your things and send you a written estimate, with no pressure to book.
